Just Announced: IRONMAN 70.3 Dallas – Little Elm 🀠

North Texas finally gets its own 70.3 – and it looks fast!

IRONMAN is bringing a brand-new race to the Lone Star State: IRONMAN 70.3 Dallas – Little Elm. Set on the north shore of Lewisville Lake, this course promises to deliver everything triathletes love – a calm open-water swim, a fast and scenic bike, and a run course built for speed and spectators.

Located just 30 minutes north of downtown Dallas, Little Elm is known for its lakefront parks, wide roads, and supportive local community. The new course is expected to highlight the best of the area with smooth pavement, rolling terrain, and lakeside views.

🏁 The Course Breakdown:

  • Swim: A 1.2-mile open water swim in Lewisville Lake with likely protected conditions and spectator-friendly access.

  • Bike: Fast and rolling 56-mile course through North Texas countryside – big sky, clean roads, and aero-friendly terrain.

  • Run: A 13.1-mile run along the shoreline with flat, shaded sections and great crowd energy to close it out.

With easy access for DFW locals, this race is likely to sell out quickly. It’s rare to see a brand-new 70.3 pop up in a metro area like Dallas β€” and this one is shaping up to be a must-do for 2026!

Bonus: Royal Triathlon will be making this a team race!
We’ll be showing up in force next March, from race-day support to custom kits and group meetups. Whether you're racing solo or with a relay team, you're invited to be part of the Royal crew in Little Elm! 🦁
